THE ANNUAL commemoration of International Women's Day on the eighth day of March every year is both an opportunity to promote gender separativeness and conflict and an opportunity to promote the needed paradigm shift to gender harmony. But in their passion for historic redress and justice, many women's advocates have tended to promote the former, with some going to the extent of declaring the menfolk the enemy of the womenfolk.
