BALANI-12-Kamalaysayan-ng-Balani

.
'KAMALAYSAYAN'
AYON SA BALANI

Diwa ng Balani sa Kasaysayan ng Lahi

Pagmunihan sana nating malaliman at mabuti

BALANI-11-Balani'y Kilalanin, Ipakilala, at Ayunan Pa

.
BALANI'Y KILALANIN, IPAKILALA,
AT GAWING AYUNAN PA

Diwa’t direksyon

Nilang lahat ay pagbubuo at pagpapahigpit pa

Ng tunay na Kaisahan, ayon sa disenyong

Itinakda ng sa buong Sangnilikha ay Nag-akda!

.....Our Synergism-oriented organization is proud of the achievements of LightShare, a founding member-organization of Pamayanang SanibLakas ng Pilipinas. LightShare started in 1999 as a face-to-face forum project of SanibLakas Foundation in 1999, was transformed into an e-group over yahoogroups, and had for a few months a regular book magazine project called LightShare Digest, before being transformed back into an internet-based forum on Facebook and a monthly face-to-face sharing forum of SanibLakas members and friends.

.....Through the years, LightShare has been instrumental in providing informative and insightful reading materials for the members of the SanibLakas community, especially after it became an FB group page, with such features as "Ponder This..." and "Glowing Plankton" and the now-defunct "JM Taruc shares her truth quietly and clearly," and since more recently, the "LightShare Digest uploads of past issues" and "Mga Aral ng Balani," as well as the "Sing Out for Love Peace Joy 2011" and the "Smiles for Synergy Festival" projects.

.....With a growing number of active member-participants, LightShare will soon be an even stronger popular education network on practical spirituality and the synergism principle. We are proud of all you active members of LightShare. Keep up the good teamwork!

What we will do in Part 2. (December 11, 2011-January 7, 2012):
1. We will provide timely uploads in the "LightShare Forum" Facebook page via the blogsite.
.
2. All "Smiles for Synergy" Festival participants will receive FB postings that will include embedded links to new blog postings like this one. They will be asked to forward such new postings to at least 20 of their FB friends so these will be familiar with the festival project.
.
3. All these Festival participants will be asked to invite their FB friends to participate in the Festival with their own respective choices of specific Synergies from the poem. They will follow up with these friends in order to convince them to join the Festival. They will inform these friends once the latter's participation gets uploaded by the Festival organizers.
.
4. Promote the general theme: "Let us all joyfully celebrate the purposeful inclusion of the Synergism phenomenon in God's Creation! Celebrate likewise its practical effects!".
.
5. Encourage everyone to Happily SING OUT together for Love, Peace, Joy as we bid goodbye to 2011, to replace the horrible "Sound of War" with our music, in SingOut2011, as we await midnight into the new year. Rejoice! A new world of Seeking One Humanity is a-borning!!! Share our Smiles! Share our Songs!

smile-gift-12-13-11

Greetings to PeaceMakers InnerWork Circle

Let’s All Join the Celebration for the Synergism Phenomenon in Creation.

Smile… ( poem by Ding Reyes, May 1999)

for health, the synergy of all dynamic systems of the body,

for symbiosis, the life-sustaining synergy of all living bodies,

for integrity, the synergy of one’s thoughts, words and deeds,

for friendship, the synergy of lives that deeply touch one another,

for marriage, the synergy of lives vowed to be intertwined till the end,

for ‘kapatiran’ or siblinghood, the synergy of bondings that last, as ‘fellow-cuttings’ from the same womb branch out and grow apart,

for family, the synergy of marriage, parent-child love, and siblinghood, born and nurtured in the warm embrace of home,

for teamwork and healthy organizations, the synergy of common and diverse mental, spiritual and physical capabilities for the same aims,

for 'bayanihan' and the cooperatives, the synergy of community resources and efforts for the common good, for nationhood, the synergy of people sharing blood, domain and heritage,

for planethood, the “Earth Synergy” of all nations and races, of all species, of all land, air and water, and of all their energies,

for collective wisdom, the synergy of diverse learnings of diverse minds,

for the Universe, the synergy of all that exist, known and unknown,

for the great and glorious Cosmic Consciousness, the loving Creator and Synergy of ALL synergies

Smile for the synergy of all our smiles, happy and proud to be part of it all.

Kamayan Forum, Dec. 16, 2011--Enviro-Conservation an InterGenerational Gift

Kamayan Forum, December 16, 2011:
Enviro-Conservation, a Needed Inter-Generational Gift
.
Now, we're listening, now we're concerned! Yes, everyone seems to be getting interested, as conscious stakeholders should be, about Environmental Conservation, now that our Mother Earth has been showing symptoms of having fallen terribly ill. And into the Yuletide season, traditionally a gift-giving season, parents are busy looking for gifts to wrap for their beloved children. After all, Christmas is "for children"!

.....But, really now, do our children have reason to be very thankful about the traditional gift-giving that has been centered in the malls and in the poor man's version of them, the market sidewalks in Divisoria? Or haven't we, parents, just limited our concerns to eye-popping toys, that mostly carry toxic parts like toxic plastics, and to delicious food that would induce cholesterol and sugar overloads on Noche Buena?

And what about the days after the holiday festivities? Any concern about the children's health and the state of their environment? About the environment that we have been despoiling for years and decades, it's really theirs, after all. We have only borrowed it from them, our children and our children's children, from the next generations! Any concern about leaving with them a sustainably-livable environment? Or are we thinking of turning the Earth to them many decades still up ahead? They are already inheriting our planetary environment right now. And, as we have said, it's not a very livable one anymore!

....Some may call us "killjoys" or "spoil-sports" for bringing up really serious problems at a time that the yearly calendars have set for "fun-fun-fun." But we have no choice-- we can't continue being irresponsible to the environmental interests of our children and claim to really love our children and, supposedly for them, really be committed to maintaining a purely enjoyable atmosphere throughout this season...and let Planet Earth go hang!

....In this context, the organizers of the 21-year old Kamayan para sa Kalikasan Monthly Environmental Forum have chosen for our "Christmas session" on December 16, the focused topic, the "Environmental Conservation as the Needed Inter-Generational Gift for Our Children." Although each of the usual forum guests has something to say about this matter, we have invited young panel speakers in various situations in life to provide the forum with rich insights for us to ponder and discuss, and, perhaps, to make personal resolutions about. These include Rodne Galicha, Philippine country district manager of The Climate Reality Project (TCRP), a leading green activist in local governance; internet technology expert Ian Reyes; and Kamalaysayan's history teacher in Taguig City, Linda Corro Oliva, who is herself a young mother worried about the despoiled environment her little child would have to grow up in.

....Kamayan para sa Kalikasan has been convened on the third Friday of every month (10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) through free lunch) since March 1990. It has never missed a scheduled session since it was started then by the Clear Communicators for the Environment (CLEAR). In 2002, CLEAR was joined as co-convenor by the SanibLakas ng mga Aktibong Lingkod ng Inang Kalikasan (SALIKA), headed by Marie Reyes-Marciano, founding president, who has been the forum's lead moderator since that year. It has been fully sponsored all these 21 years by the Kamayan-Saisaki-Dads Restaurant along EDSA, near the SEC/Ortigas area, in Mandaluyong City, which has also been its regular venue.

.......CLEAR Vice President Ed Aurelio Reyes, the forum's lead organizer, said CLEAR and SALIKA are hoping that the people who come to the forum would bring out with them and radiate among all the people within their respective spheres of influence the spirit of responsible concern and passionate environmental advocacy that pervades the forum's sessions.
